The Mission
Sicilery is a student startup founded in 2022, dedicated to bringing the rich flavours and culture of Sicily to the Netherlands and beyond.
The challenge
Sicilery addresses the lack of authentic Sicilian cuisine in the Netherlands and the average low quality of food. Furthermore, Sicilery is tackling the environmental issues associated with single-use plastic packaging commonly used in the food industry.
The solution
Sicilery proposes only 100% hand-made products and 100% Made in Sicily products. We reduce our carbon footprint day by day. How? By exclusively using seaweed-based packaging materials and eliminating plastic by exclusively printing graphic units made with Algae Shiro.
